It's Been a Looooooooooong Time

Hi kids, it's Joel. You know, that guitar-player guy. Well, it's been a Looooooooooooooong time (See post titile) since this blog has been touched. Nothing's been done to it since last year (six months ago). So I thought I'd update you all on what we've been up to.



Pretty much nothing.

Yeah, we haven't done anything since we played two cover songs last November. I think it's because we all got sick and forgot about playing music for awhile. But that's just a guess. However, let's see what each individual band member has been up to lately:

Caleb: Caleb is attempting to survive the remainder of his freshman year, while being creative in his free time. He's currently working on a superhero franchise known as "Man-Man and Cukabara" as a writer, editor, and artist. When not writing teleplays in a notebook or drawing muscular men in brightly colored Spandex, he's been playing his drums and making songs in Garageband. Caleb is listening to a lot of Five Iron Frenzy, as they are back playing music.

Josh: Josh is currently listening to the mp3 player he got when he was 12 or 13, as his iPod is currently broken. He is also currently on the home stretch of his freshman year of high school, and making a splash in the public education system. When not listening to his favorite band (Family Force 5) he is listening to some of his other favorite bands (O Sleeper, These Hearts, Close Your Eyes, and some others who's names I can't remember right now.)

Joel: Joel is still sitting in the basement where PYOA once played, trying to make music. He finished his sophmore year on the fourth of May (Ha ha. Homeschoolers4Ever), so that he could worko on cleaning his house instead of playing songs. He and the aformentioned Caleb keep getting ideas for bands, but then don't do anything with said ideas and are reduced to whining about their lack of sonic creations. Joel is also making sure everyone in the universe listens to Five Iron Frenzy.

So that's what we've been up to. Who knows, another band may come around soon... But don't count on us. We've proven to be fairly unreliable. ;)
